Brooke thought of how perfect her udea to sing was. Not only woul the boy be all over her and do whatever she commanded, they were singing the perfect song in class. A slow song in which the comoposer wrote with his love for the sea. In the piece Brooke could almost hear the siren songs that started at about the fifteenth measure.
As the class started singing, Brooke remained silent. Until about the tenth measure. She started soft and grew with intensity as the song went on. As everyone heard her voice they all stopped singing. Brooke continued.
The class was in awe of her beautiful voice singing the piece, and intertwining it with her own siren song.
When the song came to an end, the class stood in silence.
All of a sudden, a fist fight broke out between the boys in the classroom. Mrs. Faye, dumbfounded, tried to break it up. She got in between two boys, trying to get them away from each other, and one accidentally punched her in the nose. "Boys! Calm down! Boys!" she shouted.
Eventually, she got them all to stop. When that happened, the bell rang for class to be over. "You all may go," Mrs. Faye said holding her nose to keep it from bleeding. Everyone grabbed their school supplies and started to leave the room. "Ms. Krystall. Stay here a moment."
Brooke groaned and walked up to Mrs. Faye.
"I would like to speak to you," Mrs. Faye started. She handed Brooke a slip of paper. "In detention tomorrow."
Brooke grabbed the detention slip. As soon as she was out of the classroom she crumpled the paper in a ball and threw it in the trash can.
Hopefully phys ed goes better Brooke thought as she headed to class.
